Ingredients

Dumplings and Sauce
  • 12 pieces Frozen dumplings Choose your favorite type, such as chicken or vegetable.
  • 1 cup Peanut butter Use creamy or chunky based on preference.
  • 1 cup Broth Chicken or vegetable broth for flavorful sauce.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Fresh garlic adds aroma and enhances flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar Provides acidity to balance the flavors.
Vegetable Addition
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Fresh or frozen broccoli adds nutrients and color.
  • 1 bunch Green onions For garnish, adds fresh crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a medium casserole dish.
  2. Pour broth into the baking dish, add peanut butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Whisk until mostly smooth.
  3. Place frozen dumplings flat-side down into the sauce and spoon some sauce over each dumpling.
Cooking
  1. Arrange broccoli florets around the dumplings, partially covered by the sauce.
  2. Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the cover, gently stir the sauce, and let it sit uncovered for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and chili crisp if desired.
  2. Serve directly from the baking dish and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd dumplings in the baking dish. Allow dish to rest after baking for thicker sauce and better flavor. You can experiment with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas as desired.
