  • 1 pinch Sea salt Enhances the chocolate flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Sprinkles or chopped nuts Optional for decoration and texture.
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper To prevent sticking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly to ensure chocolate adheres well.
  2. Prepare your work area by lining a tray with parchment paper and setting a wire rack nearby.
Melting Chocolate
  1. Melt the chocolate using a microwave in short bursts, stirring in between, or over low heat in a double boiler until smooth and glossy.
Dipping
  1. Dip each strawberry by holding it by the leaves and lowering it into the melted chocolate, turning to coat evenly.
  2. Lift the strawberry and let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
  3. Place the dipped strawberries on parchment and add sprinkles or nuts before the chocolate firms.
Setting
  1. Chill the dipped strawberries in the refrigerator for about 20–30 minutes until the chocolate sets.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dried before coating. Avoid water in the chocolate to prevent seizing. Work in small batches for best results.
